Mountain Gurl was born in the beautiful Green Mountains of Vermont by native Vermonter Sam Grout. Sam was on a mission to find skincare products that were good for you for her customers. holistic beauty and environmental consciousness through skincare.Ancient ayurvedic skincare and modern science come together to bring you the best of both worlds. We are bringing botanical and natural ingredients from the foothills of the Himalayas to the lemongrass fields in India and from various parts of the world to create Mountain Gurl products


Thus, Mountain Gurl was born and we are delighted to be bringing you amazing hand-crafted and small batch products good for you and the planet.



We Use Botanical Ingredients

BORN IN VERMONT

  • Over millions of years of evolution plants have learned how to create a natural balance. 
  • At Mountain Gurl we use full spectrum extracts instead of active ingredients that isolate this synergy and bioactivity to create safe and effective products that are good for you and the planet. 

We use aloe juice as the base of most of our products instead of diluting them with water and we try to avoid alcohol so we don’t strip your skin of essential natural oils.

We Focus On Sustainability

  • – Utilize plant based ingredients instead of ones derived from petrochemicals that are NOT good for you.
  • – Strive to reduce our carbon footprint by manufacturing our products in the US versus overseas.
  • – Source and utilize innovative packaging that is carbon neutral such as our biodegradable sugarcane tubes, glass and other recyclable packaging for our products.
